Cotton-Hemp Fabric, PLAIN WEAVE – “LEAVES” PRINT

Our cotton-hemp fabric with a plain weave is a lightweight, versatile material. Made from a blend of 70% cotton and 30% hemp, it performs well in any situation where breathability, natural composition, and comfort are important.

This is the lightest fabric in our collection. It’s perfect for sewing shirts, blouses, dresses, summer pants, and lightweight accessories. It’s also ideal for home textiles-curtains, table runners, and dishcloths.

Before the design was transferred to the fabric, it was created on paper. The hemp leaf motif was hand-painted with watercolors and then transferred to the fabric using a printing method. As a result, the print retained the lightness and character of a traditional illustration, while allowing for a precise reproduction of every detail.

For the printing process, we used dyes designed for natural cellulose fibers. These are low-emission dyes, developed to minimize environmental impact while maintaining the durability and quality of the print.

The hemp used to produce this fabric is grown in Poland, and the entire process-from spinning the fiber, through weaving the fabric, to producing the finished fabric-takes place locally. This is part of our efforts to revive Poland’s hemp processing industry and create natural textiles made in Poland.
