Cotton-hemp fabric in plain weave is a high-quality material with versatile applications. The balanced combination of 70% cotton and 30% hemp makes this fabric not only durable but also appropriately flexible. Our canvas is the lightest fabric in our offer.

The print was made with special dyes dedicated to natural cellulose fibers. These dyes are low-emission; this does not mean they are 100% neutral, but they are non-toxic to humans and the environment, with minimal environmental impact.

Hemp fiber, known for its durability and breathability, combined with ethically sourced cotton from our European supplier, creates a fabric that is an environmentally friendly choice. Cotton-hemp fabric is resistant to wear, making it ideal for creating practical everyday products.

Plain weave fabric is the “lightest” in our current offer. What is the difference between twill and plain weave?

Twill weave creates characteristic diagonal lines and is stronger than plain weave. The fabric is more flexible, better conforms to shapes, and is much more resistant to tearing. This makes it ideal for products that require durability.

Is the fabric stiff?

Despite its thickness, the fabric remains pleasantly soft. Twill weave gives it the right elasticity, allowing it to be easily shaped. With each wash, it becomes even softer and more pleasant to the touch.

How much fabric do I need for a backpack?

For a medium-sized city backpack, you need about 2–3 meters of fabric, depending on the design and extra pockets. A width of 150 cm allows for economical layout of the pattern pieces.

Is it suitable for furniture?

Absolutely! The fabric’s weight and durable twill weave make it perfect as upholstery for chairs, poufs, or headboards. Its natural bacteriostatic properties are an added advantage for daily use.
