Selection Tips for Different Projects
For lightweight projects such as airy curtains, summer clothing, or delicate decorations, the plain weave fabrics (200-230 g/m²) are ideal. Their flowing structure will provide the right lightness and elegance.
We recommend twill fabric (340 g/m²) for creating outerwear, hats, vests, and accessories such as fanny packs and backpacks. The high weight ensures durability and strength.
With a weight of approx. 500 g/m², this fabric is the perfect choice for pants, jackets, overalls, skirts, as well as bags and accessories.
A Practical Guide to Samples
After receiving the set, lay out the samples and compare their textures. Note the differences in the weave – the delicate plain weave, the diagonal twill, and the distinct checkerboard of panama. Squeeze each sample in your hand to assess its stiffness and elasticity.
Examine the colors in daylight to see their true shades. You can even perform a wash test on a small piece to see how the fabric behaves after contact with water. Keep the set – it will be your personal swatch book for the future.
